Victory
If you think
back over the past week, can you recall an incident or area of your life where
God gave you victory? Perhaps you were kind in the face of anger or
patient with unruly children or loving to a confused, aged parent. You
can experience victory through God.
You can be
victorious in life on earth. Revelation 7 tells us that we will be rewarded by
serving and loving the Lord. We have many opportunities to serve.
In this land and around the world people are hungry and thirsty, homeless
and with no one who really cares about them. We can serve and love the
Lord by serving and loving each other. Loving unselfishly does not mean
making the least of ourselves but making the most of someone else. View others
through the eyes of Jesus.
Some people may
be well cared for physically and financially, but they carry many
burdens. Are you included among those who carry many burdens?
Will the final chapter of your life close in defeat or victory? If you
have not asked Jesus to take your burden of sin, ask him to "wipe away
every tear" (Revelation 7:17) from your eyes, to cleanse you in his blood.
You can be
victorious after your life on earth by receiving salvation through Jesus
Christ our Lord.
